ChromoTek 的 VHH 具有良好的驗證與應用。由於這些 single-domain antibodies (sdAb) 的分子量僅為 15 kDa 左右,因此 VHH 的大小僅為傳統 IgG 抗體 (150 kDa) 的十分之一,或不到 Fab fragment ( 50 kDa) 的三分之一。

Spot-Tag® 為 12 個氨基酸的 peptide-tag (PDRVRAVSHWSS) 組成,而 Spot-Nanobodies 會特異性地與高親和力的 Spot-tagged proteins 結合。
